Structure
Structure of Cosmological Parameters from the CMB
Parameter inference compares predicted CMB spectra with measured spectra using a cosmological model. Some parameters are strongly degenerate in CMB data alone, so external observations such as baryon acoustic oscillations or supernovae improve constraints.
Chapter review
Assessment still in review.
The chapter is published, but its assessment has not completed the verification and QA pipeline yet. It will appear here after publication.

The CMB does not measure one cosmological number directly; its temperature, polarization, and lensing statistics jointly constrain a model's parameter combinations.
