Quadrilaterals can be grouped by shared attributes such as parallel sides, equal sides, and right angles.

Representations that should agree
A square can belong to more than one category because it satisfies the definitions of rectangle and rhombus as well as square. A correct model, equation, verbal explanation, or diagram should preserve the same quantities and relationships.
